Her style is representational and impressionistic and her subjects range from landscapes to figurative to still-life. She likes to illustrate an image or emotion with patterns and gestures, many brush strokes that add up to a finished piece. When you step close to one of her paintings, you can see deliberate strokes of color, and when you step back, the colors blend and become whole, encompassing a viewer with a moment of beauty.

BIOGRAPHY
I was born in 1971 in Bellingham, Washington, and grew up in the community of Pike Place Market artists in Seattle where my mom sold her artwork. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and painting for at least 20 years.
I live with my husband, son, and two cats in Eastern Washington, where I spend my days with my toddler and nap time painting.
I paint intimate paintings as a way of expressing appreciation of the world; to show how the light dances on flower petals or how a parent holds their child.
