I got this little kitty at a garage sale about 10 years ago. She used to be holding a fishing pole, but she looks more like she’s praying than fishing to me. With this painting, … I was trying to get the grey to stand out from the warm background, but to sit with it as well.

Yesterday was Heath’s 15 year anniversary at work, so we made him a birthday style cake. Congratulations, Heath!

This is a painting of my son working a toy. I loved the light coming through his fingers, and that the toy looks like a baby bird or dinosaur.
