What I Feel, abstract painting #3 for 2017

I’m continuing to explore colors and textures and relationships. Specifically, how the green shape fits in with the violet shape around it… are they merged together or separate? Is one growing from the other, or diving into it? Sometimes it’s hard to tell where one thing ends and the next begins – especially in matters of the heart.

approx. 10×20 inches, acrylic on loose canvas. For the photo I took the painting outside on a piece of wood above the snow in the shade, and took a photo outside. ┬áThe photo is so much more accurate than the one I took right inside the glass door.

It’s -5 right now, but not cold enough to force me into shoes or a jacket! :)
