“Coming Home I”
12 in x 18 in, oil on wood

On the way home the clouds and wind were amazing. When we stopped at a rest stop and opened up the truck door, it almost flew off. I wanted to capture that rain cloud and the atmospheric effect. This has some of the same colors as Orcas Island II in the mountains…

Hattie just looked over my shoulder and commented “very nice” – a serious comment, then found out it was you. She wants you to know that she likes your style. So do I.

You are such a wonderful painter. You have an ab-ex style of your own that is truly light and airy—yet very impressionistic, too. Truly, you are so gifted. It is hard to be original and acheive a look that is one’s own–and so lovely, too.

Jessie, I just love your subdued palette and would relish the chance to win one of your paintings!

Love the colors. You’ve captured the early spring atmosphere in Eastern Washington perfectly.I love what you’ve done with the pasture in the foreground. Thanks for sharing!
