I saw this cloud formation as we were driving, made a couple sketches, and then painted it when we got home. I’ve been wanting to do some paintings more in this direction, and have made many attempts at capturing this mood; I’m pretty happy with this one. This has a similar ground plain placement as the Skyscape I painting.

Her style is representational and impressionistic and her subjects range from landscapes to figurative to still-life.
