Apples

applesI really like these colors.

More Bananas

More subdued colors in this one.

Bananas

6×6, oil on wood. These came out really vibrant. I’m going to give this another try tomorrow.

Leaning

gar-jrasche6×6, oil on wood. Three garlic bulbs leaning left. I love the shimmery skins of these.

Orange Juice

ojuice-jrasche6×8, oil on wood. I really enjoyed the subtle colors of the shadows.

Driving Through Popcorn

car2-jrasche-copy6×8, oil on canvas. I was in a silly mood, so here is a toy car driving through a popcorn snow storm.

Mostly Water

park-jrasche8×10, oil on canvas. This morning I painted for an hour in the park, and it was just lovely. This is a wide river with hills and mountains in the distance. I didn’t get very far with the painting – I’ll go back to finish it some time.

“Sunday Driver” Car and Can

car-jrasche6×8, oil on canvas. A little red and yellow car and it’s reflection in a can. Super fun.

Neighbor’s Pine Trees

trees-jrasche

12×6, oil on wood. I have been admiring these very tall pine trees since we moved in, and enjoyed painting them in the late afternoon light yesterday.

Bare Trees

snow-jrasche6×6, oil on wood. A small snowey sceen to say good-bye to the snow! I love the way you can see through these bushy red bare trees, but just a little. Spring is here, and spring colors are to come!

My camera is being repaired, which is why there’s a long lag on my uploading my new paintings… I’m waiting for them to dry and scanning them.
